He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Dennis Johnston (Nancy) of Mankato, MN, Denise Burr (Mike) of Huron, SD, Douglas Johnston (Lisa) of Mankato, MN and David Johnston (Cindy) of Mankato, MN; his grandchildren, Dana (Jamie) of Canton, GA, Debbin, Drew, Peter, Suzy, Mindy and Brianna of Mankato, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Katy Schueneman, Peggy Seitzer and Ruth Keenan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
