He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stevens (Steve) and Dora Stevens (Stiles); his wife Janice Poole of Winnebago; his siblings, Barbra Toay and Jim Stevens; and his parents-in-law, Jesse and Irene Poole.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Polzin (Richard) of Amboy, Susan Grover (Donald) of Amboy, Gretchen Wendt (Wayne) of Amboy and Greg Stevens (Sandra) of Amboy; his grandchildren, Melissa Phelps (Sam), Michael Wilder, Thomas Smith (Christine), Jenna Beck (Luke), Sarah Smith, Ciara Buckholtz (Luke), Marshall Brunz and Gavin Stevens; his great grandchildren, Walter, Arthur Beck and Evangeline Smith; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Stevens, Carol Kvittem (Duane), Judy Poole and Florence Wishman (Don).
