He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Block and Evelyn Block (Foss); his parents-in-law, Gisli and Gudrun Davidson; and his brother Jacob Block.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Davidson; his children, Michael Block of Woodstock, GA, Bill Block (Kris) of Mankato, Kristina Rose (Jeff) of Ankeny, IA, Jonathan Block of Columbia Heights, Jennifer VanHorn of Shakopee and Kenny Block of Dallas, GA; and his sisters, Luella Schroeder (Stan) of Ellensburg, WA and Lillian Kohlman (Dalton) of Minot, ND.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Lutheran Church (222 Pfau St, Mankato, MN 56001). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
