She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Drs Melvin and Esther King; her siblings, Katy and Terry; her husband Donald L. Dehning of St. Peter; her brothers, Dr. David (Betty King) of Houston, Texas and Terrance (Nancy King) of Isanti; her sons, Christopher (Mara Dehning) of Mankato and David Dehning of St. Louis Park; her brother-in-law Bruce Dehning of St. Peter; her grandchildren, Michaela Dehning of Burbank and Mark Dehning of Eatonton, Georgia; and her stepgrandson AJ Degidio of Mankato. She was also cherished by parents and grandparents, faithful friends.
Sometime after 2015 she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Dementia, and Don began to decline from congestive heart failure.
