He is survived by: his children, Steve (Cassandra) of St. Peter, Dan of St. Paul and Ellen Sassenberg (Vince) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Justin, Benjamin, Lucy Sassenberg and Madeleine Wagner; his stepgrandchildren, Devin, Martin, Chelsea Wagner and Jessica Merchant (Wagner); and his sisters, Florence of Mankato and Eunice Sassenberg of Mankato.
