He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Kelsey and Mary Kelsey (Wondra); his son Joseph Kelsey Jr.; his grandchildren, Kristopher Kelsey and Kaylee Kelsey; and his siblings, Genevieve Thatcher, Wilfred, Thomas and Edward.
He is survived by: his niece Kathy Devens; his children, Roxanne Leding (Paul), Richard Kelsey (Cheri), Patrick Kelsey and Sandra Kelsey; and his grandchildren, Robin Leding-Ross (Chad), Adam, Jeffrey, Monte and Lita.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Midwest Animal Rescue Services (MARS).
