He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Theodore Anderson and Ruth Antonia Anderson; his wife Janette; his grandson Timothy John Jacobs; his great grandchild Jacob Timothy Loesch; and his siblings, Kathleen Solie, Paul and James Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Candace Malmquist (Neil) of North Mankato, Debbra Jacobs (Steve) of Sauk Rapids, John Anderson (Linda) of Andover and James Anderson (Mary Jo); his granddaughters, Stephanie Loesch, Stacy Halverson, Nichole Malmquist, Alicia Tanner and Laura Norland; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Connor VanderKooi, Jackson, William Halverson, Carter, Max, Walker Loesch, Jaxson, Kendall Tanner, Halle and Harper Norland; and his sister-in-law Gloria Anderson of Seattle, Washington..
John suffered from Alzheimer's disease and later moved to Mankato, Minnesota and resided at Ecumen Pathstone where he was lovingly cared for the rest of his life.
