It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lee Schluter in Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on June 24, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Lee Schluter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schluter and Emma Schluter (Andresen); his wife Dorothy Schluter (Dot); his son Gary Schluter; and his siblings, Maxine Christopherson-Vick, Leona Gosen and Donald.
He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy Herion (Dot); his children, John Schluter (Jack) of Kerrville, TX and Jill Schluter (Doug Reichel) of Mankato; his granddaughters, Tiffany Schluter and Ashley Schluter; his great grandchildren, Gavin and Olivia; his close friend Lucille Kahle of LeSueur; and also, Barb Berndt, Heidi Obele and Barry Kahle of LeSueur. He is also survived by her many grand-children and great grand- children.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Croix Hospice or Mayo Hospital would be welcomed.
