It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jody Lieske (Mankato, Minnesota), who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Jody may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his father Wilbur Lieske. He is survived by: his mother Jacie Lieske of Mankato; and his siblings, Connie Kohn (James), Greg Lieske (Linnea) of Mankato and Brian Lieske (Michele) of Minneapolis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church (1123 Marsh St, Mankato, MN 56001).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Mt. Olive Lutheran School.
