It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan C. Kleen (Mankato, Minnesota), who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman E. Kleen and Lucille E. Kleen (Gilberts); her aunts and uncles, Harold "Shorty" (Irene Kleen), Donald (LuAnn Kleen), Louis (Helen Kleen), Elsie (Fred Hase), Violet "Bill" (Willard Schulz), Richard "Dick" (Juanita Cue), Emmet "Bud" Gilberts and Dorla Birr; her cousins, Kenneth Hase, Marianne Petersen, Gerry Fox and Larry Birr; and her close friend Ruth Spore.
She is survived by: her cousins, Debbie Kleen, Susan, Matthew Schmidt, Howard Kleen, Dale, Amy Kleen, Charlotte Hase, Gaylyn "George", Vicky Hase, John Petersen, Karen and William Bieber; her uncle Orin Birr (Gilberts); her cousins, Darla Kopischke, Richard Schulz, Dee Waldron, Steve, Becky Birr, Scott, Jackie Birr, Pam, Neil Mattick, Brenda Birr, Cheryl and Dan Klages; and her close friends, Mavis Gessner, Curt, Debbie Fisher and Marilyn Lehnert. She is also survived by many neighbors, friends.
Memorials may be given to Hosanna Lutheran Church, Alzheimer's Association, or the Rapidan Historical Society.
