He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gish and Ida Gish; his sons, Michael and Ricky; his parents-in-law, John and Anna David; his siblings, Donald Gish (Lucille), Norma Schwichtenberg (Glen) and Donna June Gish; his siblings-in-law, Nellie Gish, Jerry Stocker and Alice Zika (Harold); his nieces, Nancy Stocker and Debbie Gish; and his nephew Rocky Schwichtenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Janet David; his daughter Diana Compart (Jim) of Rural Nicollet; his great grandchildren, Rudy Compart (Anita), Darcy, Sloan of Mount Prospect, IL, Robby Compart (Anna), Richard of Princeton, MN, Daniel Compart (Devan), Alexander of St Paul, MN and David Compart (Kaitlyn) of Milford, OH; his daughter Linda Sachs of Long Island, NY; his grandchildren, Taylor, Justin and Aidan Sachs of Long Island, NY; his son Randy Gish (Lisa) of St Peter; his grandchildren, Jacob Gish of North Mankato, MN, Jennifer Peterson (Jacob) and Joshua Gish; his siblings, Keith Gish (LaVonne Mayer) of Winona, MN and Mayonne Stocker of LeSueur, MN; and his brother-in-law Jerome David (Lorraine). He is also survived by Many Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (525 Grant Ave, North Mankato, MN 56003). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery (511 4th St NW, Montgomery, MN 56069).
