James L. Gibson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James L. Gibson of Mankato, Minnesota, born in Middleville, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gibson and Ethel Gibson (Prentice); and his brother Keith. He is survived by: his wife Kenna Middleton; his daughters, Brenda Sonnek (Anthony) and Carrie Moore (Gary); his grandchildren, Hunter, Gabriel and Oliver; and his brothers, Carl Gibson (Jamie), Edward Gibson (Christina) and Fred Gibson. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Centenary United Methodist Church (501 S 2nd St, Mankato, MN 56001).
Memorials are preferred to Farmamerica, Centenary United Methodist Church, National FFA Foundation, or Farmhouse Fraternity.
