He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter DeWitte and Marie DeWitte (Cattrysse); and his siblings, Irene, Mary Lou, Bob and Leon.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Pehrson; his sons, Brian (Tammy), Jason (Gerri) and Jesse (Laura); his grandchildren, Travis, Tiffani, Danyella, Colten, Tagen and Alex; and his sister-in-law LeeAnn DeWitte.
