He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane Wandersee (Fitzsimmons) and Bob Wandersee; his parents-in-law, Stanley and Marian Johnson (Drummer); his niece Juliah Wandersee; and his sister-in-law Jane.

He is survived by: his wife Carol (Johnson); his daughters, Sarah Boland (Cameron) of Rochester and Molly Hammen (Christopher) of Neenah, WI; his grandchildren, Tore, Jack, Ben, Mia and Charlotte; his siblings, Wayne Wandersee (Carolyn), Steve Wandersee (Barb), Curt Wandersee (Leah), Miles Wandersee (Mary Kay), Judy Jobe, Kay Pikus and Juleen Aydt; his siblings-in-law, Don Johnson (Jan), Roger Funfsinn, Dave Johnson (Donna), Jeff Johnson (Lorna), Linda Reichert (Doug) and Mary Cassem (Marty); and his uncle Conley Hiller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
