He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Guentzel and Marie Guentzel (Hiniker); his wife Inez Guentzel; his siblings, Forrest, Robert, Henry "Heinie", Geoge Guentzel, Shirley Braam (Peter), Carol Boyer and Fran Renne (Dick); and his brother-in-law Jim Brozik.
He is survived by: his son Greg of Brooklyn Park; his sister Eileen "Sue" Brozik of Mankato; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Guentzel and Dorothy Guentzel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church (632 S Broad St, Mankato, MN 56001). A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
