He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hiniker and Mary Hiniker (Trio); his grandson James Lucas Hiniker; his great grandchild Rowen Roberts; and his siblings, Ray, Paul Hiniker and Louise Kreutzer.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Darlene Lind of Mankato; his children, James Elmer Hiniker, Jr. (Barbara) of Remer, MN, Patrick David Hiniker (Julie) of Mankato, Dale Benjamin Hiniker (Sharon) of Nicolett, MN, Kevin Christopher Hiniker (Marvel) of Winnebago, MN, Rachel Dolores Roberts (Paul) of Stafford, VA and Lori Marie Truebenbach (Brian); his siblings, Michael Hiniker (Mary) of Mankato, MN and Margaret Williams of Sioux City, IA; and his brother-in-law Robert Kreuzer of Mankato. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
