James Brozik Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Brozik of Mankato, Minnesota, born in Waseca, Minnesota, who passed away on February 5, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Brozik to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brozik and Marcella Brozik; his stepmother Patricia Brozik; his brothers, Jack, Thomas and Richard Brozik; and his son Brian Brozik.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen "Sue" Guentzel of Mankato; his children, Brad (Kathy) of Mankato and Brenda (Charlene) of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Matt (Lisa), Jennifer Anderson (Chet) and Sarah Osterberg (Mike); his great grandchildren, Owen, Isla, Merrick, Greta, Ty, Bode, Wesley, Hallie and Zoey; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Brozik, Mary Lou Guentzel, Dot Guentzel and Jim Guentzel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was proud to be the first football player at FHS to wear a face mask on his football helmet to help stop nose bleeds from contact while playing the game.
