It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iver Johnson of Mankato, Minnesota, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley Patrick; his parents, Andrew Edward Johnson and Henrietta Johnson (Korf); and his sister Grace Hatch. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Wyrembek; his children, Jill Van Cleave (Roger), Jim Johnson (Roberta), Janet Workman (Dan), Lisa Clubb (Tony) and David Johnson (Shannon); his sister Alma Siemers; his grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Kelsey, Brianna, Alyssa, Whitney, Walker, Michael and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Josh Jr. and Colton; his stepchildren, Barb Ross (Harry), Deborah Wheeler (Mark) and Scott Patrick (Ann); and his stepgrandchildren, Tiara, Ben, Erin, Michael and Justin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Sadly, he lost his will to live after three months of forced isolation due to Covid-19 restrictions.
