He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard, Sr. Hanson and Cecilia Hanson (Wingerberg); and his brother Henry Hanson. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Micheel; his son Mike (Victoria); his grandchildren, Arthur and Gwen; his daughter Pam True; his granddaughters, Ava and Greta; and his sister-in-law Jill Hanson.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (1706 Lee Blvd, North Mankato, MN 56003). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
