It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilbert C. Bergemann of Mankato, Minnesota, born in Good Thunder, Minnesota, who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bergemann and Helena Bergemann (Tonn); his daughter Sharon; and his brothers, Elmer and Melvin.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Birr; his children, Linda Sorgatz (Lynn), Gayle Mortensen (Mark), Edith Williams (Matt) and Barbara Anderson (Chris); his grandchildren, Neal Sorgatz, Jesse Sorgatz, Ben Sorgatz, Janna Sorgatz, Jodi Lamsam (Chris), Kevin Mortensen, Erica Mortensen, Jenean Cherney (Mitchell), Thomas Williams, Stephanie Lauer (Matt) and Melany Jans (Cory); his great grandchildren, Nora, Harrison Lauer and Grayson Jans; and his sister Norma Peters.
