She was predeceased by: her sister Marlys Schwartz of New Ulm; her husband Collin; her sons, Gary Barnes and Larry Barnes; and her grandson Craig Bloemke.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Barnes (Marlene) of Mankato and Jean Bloemke of Sleepy Eye; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Shellum of Nicollet. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
