She is survived by: her husband Thomas Theis; her sons, Steven, William and Dwayne "Dewey" Oothoudt; her grandchildren, Chase Oothoudt, Ty Oothoudt and Priscilla Oothoudt; and her siblings, Glenn Mellen, Gilbert Mellen and Theresa Schendel.
