He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. Salfer and Josephine H. Salfer (Goettlicher); his brother Leon; and his sister-in-law Alice Salfer. He is survived by: his brothers, Wayne Salfer of Mankato and Dean Salfer (Jill) of Mankato; and his nieces, Brenda Lundberg of Mankato, Laurie Mitchell (Kyle Conrady) of Prior Lake, Sue Krienke (Dean) of Waterville and Monica Salfer of Mankato.
