He is survived by: the mother of his children April Shortman; his daughters, Alyssa Martinez (Dalia) of New Ulm, MN, Hope Badten Arroyos of New Ulm, MN and Savannah Shortman of Minot, ND; and his siblings, Rachel Bluedog Morales (Juan Morales) of Saint James, MN, Michelle Gonzalez (Diego) of Austin, MN, Tamara Schiebout of Slayton, MN, Frank Bluedog of Florida, Lance Allen Badten of Denver, CO, Thomas Brands of Sioux Falls, SD and Kurtis Bluedog. He is also survived by many many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
