He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ward and Fern Ward (Tyrrell); his son-in-law John Templin; and his brothers, Jerry and Dale Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Susan Templin of Biloxi, MS and Michael Ward (Leanne) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Brandon (Jennifer), Kiefer Templin (Peyton), Dustin Nickel-Templin (Charles), Alissa Keith (Andrew), Matthew Ward and Jamie Ward; his great grandchildren, Ryker, Sterling and Foster Templin; and his sister Linda Fierge (Tom) of Parry, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be given to the Huntington Foundation.
