He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Berckes and Elizabeth Berckes (Kraus). He is survived by: his wife Margaret DeWilde (Peggy); his children, Todd Berckes (Jessie) of Canby, Dean Berckes (Liz) of Albany, Tammy Yackley (Jason) of New Ulm, Jerry Berckes (Vickie) of Columbus, Carrie Stout (Darryl) of Maplewood and Linda McDonald (Mike) of Madison Lake; his grandchildren, Amidy, Oliver, Candace Berckes, Jackson, Cooper, Natalie Yackley, Brianna, Ayla Berckes, Jaad, Lily Stout, Kirsten, Tanner and Bryce McDonald; and his brother Dave Berckes (Debbie Jandro). He is also survived by four nieces and one nephew; and other relatives and friends.
