He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Amanda; his wife Doris; and his siblings, Fred, Hilda and Lorna.
He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Paul (Nancy) of Carefree, AZ, Dr. John (Marcia Page) of Edina, MN and Jim of Owatonna, MN; his grandchildren, William (Diana), Anne Benson (Ryan), Tom (Kirstin), Sarah, Kristen and Laura; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Olivia Benson, Sam and Madeline Huepenbecker; and his sister Doris Schrupp (Orville). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
