He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Holmes and Regina Holmes (Mulcahy); and his former wife Joan Daub. He is survived by: his wife Rita of Mankato; his children, Chrissy Rasmussen (Don) of Brainerd, MN, Jim Holmes of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Pat Holmes (Mylene) of Mankato, MN and Mike Holmes (Kitty) of Minnetonka, MN; his sister Clarine Bisch; and also Rita Seifert. He is also survived by six children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
