He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Fredrich Ernst and Ella Luise Anna Harnitz (Zimdahl); and his wife Sharon Jane. He is survived by: his children, Andre Harnitz (Amy) of Mankato, Cory Harnitz (Lisa) of Mankato and Kelly Harnitz of Mankato; his grandchildren, Ariel, Ari, Anastasia, Alex, Liza, Dutch and Ivy of Mankato; his sister Marianne Witsch (Hans) of San Jose, CA; and his nieces and nephews, Angela, Elke, Gabrielle, Ralf, Uve and Matt.
