With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Johnson of Mankato, Minnesota, born in Blue Earth, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Douglas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Douglas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Johnson and Patricia Johnson (Nowicki); and his sister Patti Stolz. He is survived by: his children, Nick Johnson (Chelsie) and Laura Teske (Brock); his grandchildren, Yale, Fynn, Vivian and Madeline; and his siblings, Pam Braunshausen (Mark), Mike Johnson (Marlene) and Brian Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lura Cemetery (21053 460th Ave, Easton, MN 56025). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Nasinec Funeral Home (255 2nd Ave SW, Wells, MN 56097).
