She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Meurer and Dorothy Meurer (Cyphers); her husband Duane Ziegler; and her siblings, Dean Meurer (Marge), Arlene Kachelmeyer (Paul), Delores Vaubel (Bob), Mary Lou Caron (Ronnie), Bob Meurer, Lois Volrath (Eddie) and Barbara Meurer.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise Peterson (Dennis); her grandchildren, Devin Moline (Matt), Drew Peterson (Lindsay) and Darian Nagel (Jeff); her son Dale Ziegler (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Mikayla Ractliffe (Brywn), Jacob Ziegler (Michaela) and Alison Dobson (Tyler); her son Darrell Ziegler (Brenda); her grandsons, Dustin Ziegler (Jenna) and Brady Ziegler (Johnver Atienza); her son Douglas Ziegler (Tami); her grandchildren, Andrew Retzlaff (Beth) and Sydney Ziegler (Logan Stenberg); her son David Ziegler; her grandchildren, Jasmine Ziegler and Dillon Ziegler; and her sister-in-law Mary Meurer. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (423 W 7th St, Mankato, MN 56001).
