He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robb and Bernadine Robb (Oglesby); and his siblings, Janet Nelson (Ed) and Frederick Robb. He is survived by: his wife Carie; his children, Theresa Robb, Debra Wingate, David Robb (Carol), Bernadine Sila, Daniel Robb and Craig Robb (Teri); and his sister Carol Benkovich (John). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandsons.

Donavan donated his body to science at Mayo clinic in Rochester MN.
