She was predeceased by: her father Robert H. Wirig; her husband Fred A. Muellerleile; her mother Bonita "Bonnie" Wirig (Jones); and her brother-in-law Joe Hager. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Gay Fowler (Muellerleile); her sister Shari Hager; her grandsons, Dr. Jim Fowler (Jana Fowler) and John Fowler (Michaël Dumais); and her great grandchildren, Sarah and Elizabeth Fowler.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Calvary Cemetery in Mankato.
