In the sacred silence of farewell, Delpha Jean is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Delpha Jean's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Holmgren and Berniece Holmgren (Moore); her son Russell Skelly; her son-in-law Doug Steenhard; and her sister Beverly Hibbard (Ronald).
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Skelly; and her children, Steven Skelly (Pam), Deborah, Gail Connelly (Bruce) and Scott Skelly (Brenda). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Lutheran Church (222 Pfau St, Mankato, MN 56001). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
