He is survived by: his wife Rose Wirig-Petersen; his stepsons, Jonathan Petersen (Patty), Mitchell Petersen and Brett Petersen (Alexis); his grandchildren, Brayden and Brianna; his siblings, Tom Hoffman (Mary), Patti Bye (David) and Jane Hoffman; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Hoffman and Pat Conley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
