He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Heldberg and Alma Heldberg (Papke); and his brothers, Quentin, Kermit, Bill and Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Marva Moe; his son Karl Heldberg (Nancy); his grandchildren, Garrett, Luke and Gretchen; his son Frank Heldberg (Rachel); and his grandchildren, Marshall and Jacquelyn. He is also survived by 1 nephew and 2 nieces and cousins.
