He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Eccles; his parents, Alta Eccles and John Eccles; and his siblings, Ginny Johnson, Juanita Vulcan, Sylvia Compton, Etta Mae Stuber, Rosetta Hruby and John Eccles.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Eccles (Connie), Terry Larson, Ed Eccles, Jeff Eccles (Rachel), Wendy Eccles, Charlotte Johnson, Boon Eccles (Lana), Joe Eccles, Jennifer Harrington (Jarret), Symantha Cobham (Shawn), Aaron Eccles (Marisa) and James Eccles (Leesha); his siblings, Barb Raiber, Judy Griffith and Bob Eccles; and his brother-in-law Buzz Johns (Connie). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
