He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tiede and Minerva Tiede (Van Buren); and his wife Eunice Evenson. He is survived by: his children, Jane Arduser (Bruce) of Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, William Tiede (Cindy) of Shorewood and James Tiede (Pam) of Cottage Grove, Minnesota. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
The family prefers memorials be given to the MSU Music Department or Christ the King Lutheran Church.
