She was predeceased by: her parents, Selmer Matheson and Genevieve Matheson (Halvorson); her husband Gary Zimmerman; her grandson Maddox; and her brothers, Stanley and Carlyle Matheson.
She is survived by: her children, Ann McCall (Patrick), Amy LaFreniere (Rodney) and Jeff Zimmerman (Andrea); her siblings, Marvis Dolan, Vivian Peterson, Geraldine Holmseth, Elaine Weiner (Bob) and Kathleen Bang (John); and her siblings-in-law, Sonja Matheson, Pat Zimmerman and Tom Zimmerman (Judy). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (720 S 2nd St, Mankato, MN 56001). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
