He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Ernsting and Berdina Ernsting (Tiegs); his wife Ruby Chambers; his daughter Elizabeth; his brother Elroy; and his sister-in-law Judy Ernsting.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis, Bruce (Lisa) of Dupont, WA, Scott, Jane Buck (Darrin) of LeSueur, Tim of Kasota and Tom of LeSueur; his brother Ronald Ernsting of LeSueur; and his sister-in-law Lois Ernsting. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren.
