We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2022, at the age of 85, Carol Marie Asmus in Mankato, Minnesota, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey; her parents, Carl Grossbach and Mable Grossbach (Olson); and her parents-in-law, Henry and Byrdie Asmus (Johnson).
She is survived by: her boyfriend Warren; her children, Janice Vowels (Steven) of Sussex, WI, Harlan Asmus (Amy) of Rake, IA and Ann Marie Alfonso (Larry) of Fort Collins, CO; her grandchildren, Erik Vowels (Anushka), Sarah Miracle (Brendan), Erin Nelson (Chad), Holden Asmus (Billie), Garrett Asmus (Megan), Derek, Stephen and Luke Alfonso; her great grandchildren, Henry, Leo, Lily Nelson, Riley, Hayden Asmus and Cora Asmus; and her siblings, Maryellen Gisslen (Wayne) and Dr. Donald Grossbach (Pauline). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to the Moments Hospice Foundation and the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
