She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Petersen and Dorthy Petersen (Emery); her son Steven; and her siblings, Sue, Janet, Diana, Shelia, Gary, William, Sheldon, Barry and Mark.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel Armstrong; her children, Kaylene Kollos (Jamie) and Samuel Jahnke; her grandchildren, Aiden and Mason; and her siblings, James Petersen of Albert Lea, Lucy Edwards of St. Paul, Marsha Anderson (Rodney) of Blue Earth and Mary Mealman of Esterville, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
