He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barklow and Dorothy Barklow (Miller); his wife Marilyn Knaak; and his siblings-in-law, Joanne and Herb Shottenkirk.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie Rossow (Alan), Susan Ruch (Michael) and Melissa "Mitzi" Iverson (David); his grandchildren, Jenna Miller (Scott), Marci Rossow (Travis Hammett), Alyssa Sorenson (Nick), Austin Iverson (Jordan Anderson) and Emma Iverson; his great grandchildren, Henry Sorenson, Charles and Everett Miller; his sisters, Barb Hanson (Stan), Marleen Maas (Paul) and Pat Gerber (Darell); and his sister-in-law Jeanne Delabar (Larry). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
