Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bruce Edward Winter of Mankato, Minnesota, born in Saint Peter, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 68, on November 8, 2024. He was predeceased by: his father Ed Winter; his grandparents, Russell, Ruth Baringer, Alphonse and Lillian Winter; and his nephews, Ryan and Brendan Kroehler.
He is survived by: his wife Denise; his sons, Jason Winter (Sammy) and Brian Winter (Allyson); his grandchildren, Kaleb, Rydan, Jace and Evelyn; his children, Lucy, Annie and Ollie; his mother Doris Winter; his sisters, Joyce McCargar (Jon) and Nancy Halbmaier (Jim); his parents-in-law, Robert and Sylvia Bigaouette; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Bigaouette (Sue), Joe Bigaouette (Julie), Frank Bigaouette, Barb Viehweg (David), Brenda Kroehler (James) and Debbie Groebner (Rick). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zion United Church of Christ (240 Elmwood Ave, Le Sueur, MN 56058).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the family that will then be donated to the Brendan Kroehler Memorial Scholarship Fund.
