He was predeceased by: his wife Jan Schaub; and his siblings, Harlan Schulz and Lucille Schreiber. He is survived by: his children, Robin Madsen (John), Steve Schulz (Brenda) and Anne Schulz; his grandchildren, Megan Schulz, Allison Schulz, Joe Schulz (Rebekah), Caroline Madsen and Katherine Madsen; and his great grandchildren, Samuel and Nicholas Schulz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
