He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Strand and Helen Strand (Bangerter); his grandfather Benedict Bangerter; his sister Judy Appel; his nieces and nephews, Robert Appel, Thomas (Elizabeth), Michelle (Kelly) and Gregg; his great-nephews, Josiah and Levi; his niece Nancy Appel (Mitchell Sadoff); his brother Eric Strand (Cindy); his nieces and nephews, Bob (Bryanna), Tanya (Doug) and Hawkins; his great-nephew Porter; his stepsisters, Jolene Spitler and Judy Hendley; his brother-in-law Raymond Appel; his stepbrothers, Lee Hendley and Doug Spitler, Sr.; and also, Doug Jr. (Siva), Spitler, Rebecca (Eric), Dellinger, Gabriel, Xander, Lyn (Joe), Rademaker, Troy (Sara) and Jameson.
