He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Bliesmer and Helen Bliesmer (Waldee); and his brother-in-law Joseph Eiden. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bliesmer of North Mankato, Minnesota; his daughter Rev. Shelly Olson (Erik) of North Mankato, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Samuel, Gunnar and Anna Olson; his siblings, Bonnie Prust (Jim) of Wells, Minnesota and Marlin Bliesmer (Nancy) of Dunnell, Minnesota; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Mathwig (Mary Ellen) of Fairmont, Nancy Bishop (Darvin) of Trimont and Kathleen Eiden of St. James. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Gifts in memory of Barry are suggested to the Minnesota State Mankato Foundation to support the Biology Department.
