It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Knapp (Mankato, Minnesota), born in Ely, Minnesota, who passed away on November 10, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Anton Knapp and Mary Knapp; his wife Sharon; his daughters, Patricia Cruse (Joe) of Scottsdale, Suzanne Stenseth (Scott) of St. Cloud and Cheryl Hernandez (Rob) of Indio, California; his grandchildren, Marie Hess (Alex), April Stenseth, Josh Kanter and Natalie Kanter; his siblings, Ken Knapp (Kay) of Rochester, Mike Knapp (Mary Jane) of Grand Rapids, Minnesota and Cathy; and his niece Laurel. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Hosanna Lutheran Church, Wolverton Scholarship, the American Cancer Society, and Mayo Clinic Health System—Hospice.
