Alton Beckwith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton Beckwith of Mankato, Minnesota, born in Olney, Maryland, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Beckwith and Mary Beckwith (Baker); his former wife Corinne Beckwith; his son Stephen Heiner; and his siblings, Roland "Buster" Beckwith and Shirley Beckwith.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Beckwith (Wolfe); his children, Mick Seys (Patti), Tom Seys (Louise), Peggy Davis, Perry Seys (Jennifer) and Michelle Biedscheid (Brook); his grandchildren, Carl Marshall (Joy), Brad Marshall, Lindsey Marshall Eckenrode (Luke), Steve Seys, Kristina Warren (Jed), Mandy Farmer (Moises), Dottie Cooper (Donny), Brittany Seys and Anna Biedscheid; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Marshall (Ralph). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs.
