He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Taber; and his brother Carson Taber. He is survived by: his mother Sadie Taber (Lusty) of Mankato; his former wives, Marcella Froehlich and Lynette Taber; his children, Jodi Borchardt (Terry) of Good Thunder, Donavin Taber (Mandy) of Eagle Lake and Dawn Aukes (Eugene) of Rake, IA; his grandchildren, Brady Borchardt of Good Thunder, Blake Borchardt (Mayra Rendon) of Colorado, Jesse, Madison Taber of Eagle Lake and Keenan Aukes of Iowa; his great grandchild Braxton Borchardt of Faribault; his siblings, Roger Taber (Margaret) of Mankato and Linda Oachs (Bob) of Mankato; his niece Christina Kubista (Brice); and his nephew Lucas Oachs (Melissa). He is also survived by three children.
